About Thela
Thela helps Indian creators sell guides, courses and calls from one link. It's new, and it's run by one person. Here's who that is, what we do with your details, and the terms for founding creators.
Who runs Thela
Salooja Digital, a sole proprietorship run by Aryan Salooja.
Address: Delhi NCR (full address to follow once registered)
Email: aryan200284@gmail.com · WhatsApp: +91 78000 33210
Complaints
If something goes wrong, write to our grievance contact, Aryan Salooja, at aryan200284@gmail.com. We'll confirm we've got your message within 48 hours and aim to sort it out within a month.
You can also contact the National Consumer Helpline on 1915.
If you bought something from a creator's store, the creator is the seller. Their name, city and refund rule are on their store page, and they handle refunds. Thela never receives buyers' payments, so Thela can't give refunds; we can only follow up with the creator. Tell us too if a creator doesn't respond.
How we use your details
When you apply as a founding creator
The form asks for your name, your Instagram or YouTube handle, your WhatsApp number, your email, what you sell, how buyers pay you today, about how many paid sales you've made in the last 3 months, and the store name you'd like.
- Why: to contact you about your application, to choose founding creators (we read every application by hand, and not everyone gets a spot), and to understand how creators sell today so we build the right things.
- Where it's kept: the form is handled by Netlify, our web host, which stores submissions on its servers in the United States.
- Who sees it: only the person who runs Thela. We don't sell it or share it with anyone else.
- How long: if we don't go ahead together, we delete your application within 90 days.
When you buy from a creator's store
You pay the creator's own UPI. Thela never receives your money or your UPI details. When you tap "I've paid", your order code, the item, the amount, your name and your email go in a WhatsApp or email message from you to the creator, so they can send what you bought. Thela doesn't receive these details. While you're paying, your order is saved only in this browser on your phone, so a reload doesn't lose it. It's cleared when you tap "I've paid" or "Cancel this order", or after 24 hours.
If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to make the payment.
Other services our pages use
Our pages are hosted by Netlify and use fonts from Google Fonts. Like any website, these services see basic visit details such as your IP address and browser. We don't use advertising trackers or analytics.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to aryan200284@gmail.com and we'll reply within 7 days.
Terms for founding creators
The short version. Your written agreement has the full terms, and it wins if the two ever differ.
- What Thela does: builds and hosts your store page, makes a QR and order code for every order, and writes saved replies for you to send what you sell.
- What you do: check each payment in your bank app before you send anything, send buyers what they paid for, handle refunds from your UPI app to the person who paid, and look after your own taxes.
- Money: buyers pay you directly. Thela never holds or passes on your buyers' money, and can't lift a freeze your bank puts on your account.
- The fee: your first month is free, counted from the day your store goes live. After that it's ₹299 a month, paid by UPI, with no card and no auto-debit. Thela takes nothing from your sales. We message you 3 days before the free month ends. If you haven't paid, your store stays live for 7 more days (they count as part of month two), then goes offline; pay within 30 days and it comes back as it was, or after that we delete our copies as if you'd left. Leave any time by messaging us on WhatsApp; we take your store down and you won't pay for the next month. The ₹299 has no GST added while Thela isn't registered for GST; if that changes, we'll tell you at least 30 days before. If it ever changes, we'll tell you before it applies to you.
- Not included yet: AutoDM, WhatsApp delivery, UPI AutoPay, GST invoices and card payments. These are planned, with no dates.
- What you can't sell: physical goods (for now), stock tips, trading calls or investment advice, and anything that promises guaranteed results or income. No student names or photos without their written permission. You approve your store's wording before it goes live, and you're responsible for what it says.
- Taking a store down: we can take down a store that breaks these rules or gets repeated buyer complaints. We'll tell you why, and give notice first unless buyers are at risk.
